Soil Stabilization

Call us today in Powder Springs & Marietta, GA to learn more!

Our soil stabilization techniques are used to stabilize soil under an existing structure. We drive rods down into the soil on an approximate 4' grid pattern and pump material in each vertical foot of soil mass we are stabilizing. Deep injection techniques use 1/2"-1" rods to deliver the material deeper below the surface, anywhere from 5'-20', stabilizing the existing soil mass. The goal is to increase the bearing capacity of the existing soil mass so we can ensure the slab or structure does not continue to settle.

Fortify Atlanta in Powder Springs, GA uses these techniques to remediate sinkholes, seawalls, backfilled soil zones, bridge embankments, or retaining walls that were not properly compacted or have had water migration issues. The materials we use are very light compared to concrete, which can be critical when more weight on a wall or backfill zone is not an option. These materials are extremely dense and strong and can support between 7000lbs per cubic ft up to 14,000 lbs per cubic ft, based on the material used.
